Thread: Curious ?

  1. Default Curious ?

If a person was treating for ich, dosing to mfg. specs. which will be taking 10 days to complete, Will there be a negative impact on any platy fry that has been conceived in that time period. I know gestation is supposedly 28 days, but mine are more like ever 5 days. And I always thought guppies were prolific.

Thats a good question. Im not sure on the answer, but i do know that they've made ich medicines safe for fry and eggs, so if you used that i wouldnt think any ill effects would happen. I can give you the link to the product if you want it. Its only for external parasites though, i thought it was for in- and external, but no. It is for ich though.

Thanks..ekfishlover2011, but the meds I'm using now seem to be doing pretty good. it's cleared up 90% within a 24 hour period, an I guess that blueish colored hue tint that my tank sealant has now will always be a constant reminder to always qt fish before the main tank.
