AquaticLife fixtures [recomendations,opinions]
this one is the 6 bulb version
this one is the 4 bulb.
I am interested in keeping the easier varietys of coral,I saw both of these today and was impressed with the build and engineering of both fixtures. They had them on dislpay and the heat output seemed minimal, especially compared to my 200 watt cf fixture which is like a darned convection oven. Do any of you fine folk use either of these fixtures?

I use similar, the six bulb, with different bulbs of course, on my 75 FW planted. Worth the money in my opinion if you're going to keep softies.

Seems kind of pricey, do decent lights really run for that much?90 Gallon FW Community Tank: http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/aqua...ad.php?t=89157

I've got a littler older model with 4 bulbs. Great fixture with a nice timer and reflectors. I would highly recommend this fixture if you are planning to go with T5HO. Not too bad for heat either, it's a well ventilated model
I would get the 6 bulb model so you should not be limited to much to what ever stocking you want

I do reall like the six bulb for sure. I would be able to get it at 30% off so it looks tempting for sure. I like the single cord and the timer. It beats the setup under the tank I have now with 2 power strips and a clunky timer all out of one outlet. The moonlights leds are very nice and easily replacable as well. It certaimly appears to be a better fixture then the cuurrents.
