basicaly this thing has the ability to sense water level and i can have it either active on a low or high of the sensor. i was just thinking this would be quite useful in a diy filter. havent read up on the diy wet dry but im guessing the return is always running there for if the pump fails the water can over flow, or if the pump was over powered it would be sucking in alot of air. if this is true then this circuit would be great. get a faster pump than the intake will put in and it wouldnt run all the time. am i making any wrong assumptions?

also i just thought of something else to do with this, my moms boy friend's brother has had issues with his pump in his pond falling over and draining his pond, i think i can get him this set up to control the pump so if it tips over only a certain amount of water will drain XD, i need to stop reading ideas on circuits. ive started a list of 30 things to make now :`(

Make sure to use isolation transformers, or more preferably relay or solid state controllers to keep AC away from the water.
Low voltage is the way to go.
