    Question Easy to keep Aquarium grass

    Hi everyone, is there any species of freshwater plant the is easy to keep and looks like long grass (about a foot) tall and not wide at all?

    look up vallisneria. There are several different species of it, most of which are pretty undemanding.
    300 gallon mega tank: build in progress
    75 gallon community tank: tetras, danios, corys, platies, otos, pearl gouramis, bristlenose pleco, assassin snails, red cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp
    70 gallon growout tank: clown loaches, sailfin pleco
    60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish
    29 gallon frog tank / 10 gallon tadpole tank: 1 leopard frog, 1 tadpole
    10 gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tanks: 1 male betta each, sometimes snails

    Thanks for the reply, but I was looking for something that requires nothing but a white light in the tank. Maybe I'll change my requirements and buy something that's easy to keep. I'm new to planting in aquariums.

    vals are the easiest grass-like plant that I know of. There are some others but they tend to be more demanding. I had good luck growing them with only a moderately upgraded light.

    What light do you have now? A lot of the stock lights that come with aquariums really are not suited for growing plants of any kind.

    Val will grow even in low light tanks. I have it in a few and it grows beautifully. I have it in one that has no tank light just ambient room light

    by light, do you mean the entire fixture or just the bulb? I was going to change my bulb as soon as I got plants.
