Calm down, take a breath and add de-chlorinater to the tank.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

Ok,
This is what I have been using when I do water changes:
Stress-Coat: http://aquariumpharm.com/Products/Pr...x?ProductID=43
Today I bought this one:
Tap Water Conditioner: http://aquariumpharm.com/products/Pr...x?ProductID=46
When I did a 50% water change about 4 hours ago I just added the "Tap water Conditioner"
And I also added this other that I always use with the "Stress-Coat":
stress-Zyme: http://aquariumpharm.com/products/Pr...x?ProductID=44
But I didn't add the Stress-Coat and I think that could have been the problem :(

The API tap water conditioner should have been enough. Have you checked the filter? Is it running properly?

Filter is running fine...
I finished 50% water change :)
fish ok, they seem... I added the Zyme-Coat.
Dunno, the Tap Water Conditioner has a very small dose requirement, I think thats what could have happened... I think I will stick with the Zyme-Coat... its more expensive and should be better.
thanks mom for helping me out and thank god I noticed before going to bed.

Most forum members use Prime by Seachem - it requires a very small amount no matter what the size of your tank (so it lasts a long time) - also, do you have enough water circulation with your filter or an airstone in the tank to provide enough oxygen?
When you add dechlorinator, you can add it right to your tank before adding new water - (enough for the whole tank even if you only removed 50% of the water) it will mix as you pour in the water and is effective immediately - no need to let new water sit.46 gal fw tank with black skirt tetras, neon tetras, spotted cory catfish, cherry barbs, guppies, snails & 4 amano shrimp - plastic & live plants
5 gal QT with green corys & 2 guppies

One question about water changes, do I need to "clean" the gravel when scooping it or just take water from the top.
I read somewhere that if you scoop the gravel you might mess the cycle cause bacteria are building up there, is that true?
Whats the best method to take water out?

Just hose out the water however you want. You will not destroy the cycle by scooping gravel, the bacteria is primarily in the filter.
