New fishys!!!
I went to my local fish store today and found some loaches! I've never seen them carry them ever! I am so happy! :)
They had kuhli and yoyo. I didnt know which one to buy though. :( I asked the one of the guys that were in there which one is better suited for my tank. He said the yoyo.
I bought 3 of the cuties. $21 dollars for the 3. I'm so happy!!!! :)

Three is considered the bare minimum for yoyo loaches. I would up the number to at least 5, depending on the size of your tank. The change in behavior will be very noticable.

That's all they had for yoyos. They had 2 kuhlis.
The yoyos seem so happy. They are already swimming in and out of the log, plants, ship and caves.

Quarantine is when you keep newly aquired fish out of the main tank for a while to make sure they are healthy and eating well. The point of it is to make sure you don't introduce any diseases into your already setup tank. The design can be simple like a 10 gallon with a bare bottom and a flower pot or something.

I would love to get a quarantine but my roommates don't like fish too much so I'm already pushing the button on my 2 tanks. I would like one but I don't want to pay the only rent for the place.

Breeding?
Has anyone on this wonderful world of ac ever bred yoyo loaches? I've looked it up on google a couple times and hadn't have much luck. So just wondering if anyone ever bred em? Thanks.

Aquarium 1:
3 yoyo loaches, 2 silver dollars, 1 angel fish, 3 kribensis, 1 panda garra, 1 leopard pleco, 2 dwarf gouramis... 38 gallon
Really?
This is an appropriate stock list for a 75 gallon. I have 2 yoyo in a 58 gal, they are about 4 yrs old now and near 5" in length. They are the most bositerous fish I have ever kept and I dont consider my 58 gal tall big enough for them.Your sd will get as big as the palm of a mans hand, the angel as big as a mans hand, the lepoard plec reaches 15inches. You have some issue upcoming.
I thought this subject seemed already talked about with you so I looked it up.

Cool! You totally ignored the advice given in your other thread and not only bought loaches for your overstocked tank, but instead of getting the kuhli's people advised might work until they found out your tank was overstocked, you got a botia which will definitely overstock your tank even further.
I don't understand why people come here and ask questions then totally ignore the advice of people who have been successfully keeping fish longer than you've probably been alive. Why bother asking if you are going to ignore? Just stock your tank with the fish you want and hope for the best.If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.
