    Default Rearanging tanks NEED HELP?

    So I have a 55 gallon community i want to move into a 40 but i do not know if i will be overstocked.
    Here is the stock:
    6 Australoheros Oblongum
    10 Tiger Barbs
    2 lampeye tetra
    2 Black Shirt Tetra
    2 BN
    1 Black Molly

    Im trying to make room for cichlids. So would this work?
    Also any tips on doing this would be appretiated, it is just up 2 floors.
    55 Gallon Community
    40 Breeder Peacock cichlid Grow Out
    10 gallon empty
    5 gallon Guppy Tank
    2.5 gallon cylinder Crayfish tank
    1 gallon empty

    I think it will be overstocked, but if you have enough filtration and stay current with water changes, I think it could work. You might have to re-home the two Pleco's though.

    You already have cichlids, the Australoheros Oblongum, right?

    I think I would either put the barbs in the 40 and all others in the 55 or move only the barbs and Australoheros into the 55 and hope the barbs don't tear them up.

    Or.....how about the Dempsey with the Australoheros and the Barbs in the 40 breeder? (Hobbs shrugs shoulders.) I don't think you need more fish but moving about what you do have and then see.

    You also will not want lugging water to a tank up two flights of stairs unless you have a water source there.

    Thank, I did forget to change my sig tho I no longer have the jd and I also did not say I want africans. I have also put the stock in aqadivisor and it was 104% I know it is just a guidline but I thought I would also share that info.
