New show about aquariums...

Hey guys, idk if anyone has mentioned it yet but there is a new show premiering this month on animal planet called Tanked. It's about people building crazy aquariums. I'm excited, can't wait!

It is pretty cool looking. The whole archway filled with aquariums is um probably going to be my house when I am older.

Oh jeez, we are all gonna get inspired after watching this show and soon someone's post will be "I turned my Honda Civic into a goldfish bowl" lol.

Hey I have a Saturn Ion that has the speedometer in the center of the dash and I asked my bf one day while we were driving "hey, do you think we could cut a piece of glass to fit there so I can put a betta fish there?" He looked at me and said "sorry officer, couldn't tell how fast I was going, the fish was in the way."

There is a part of me that is rather excited to watch it. Another part of me is a little perturbed that they (as seen in the trailer on the Animal Planet site) plucked a puffed up puffer out of the water and waved it about purely for the purpose of "having a laugh" ... and I suspect that the puffer was prodded into puffing for said purpose.

I will probably have a love hate relationship with this show like I did for The Tudors ... where I watched it for the entertainment and costuming, but railed and fumed at it for the historical inconsistencies.

So, in the case of "Tanked", I'll watch for the interesting and creative ways they make differing tanks work ... but I'll probably fume at some of the things they'll end up doing purely for the camera.

I was watching animal planet (hillbilly hand fishing)
And it said after this a preview of tanked. (I think it was more of a premeire)
Some of the things I agreed with, they stressed the importance or qting fish.
But some I didn't agree with. I didn't see the whole thing. The husband wanted something manly, like a shark tank. But the wife as a surprise took a milk car think and turned it into an aquarium(it was only half of the car, they cut it in half). I don't think that's big enough for sharks. I didn't get to see the whole thing though. They were also making this big QT rack of 4 tanks. They went through all of this effort, then the stupid lady was like I don't like it. You're supposed to be clear tanks and your can see as much as possible, like the bottom of the tank.
I'm not sure about this of the timing so it might not have been wrong.
They went to get fish for QT before cycling them as far as I know.(didn't see it all)
