    Thumbs up Small Tank=Small Fish

My 29 gallon. Rasbora, neons and cherry shrimp.

No Oscars, herds of angelfish, schools of bala sharks, schools of clown loaches. No Jack Dempsey's, Arowanas or flocks of comet goldfish. No Pleco's.

Stock per size tank you have and the full growth of what you fish will be, not what they are when purchased. There are lots of nice little fish for tanks this size. Just use common sense and you'll have a nice little tank that's stocked sensibility.

    Good Luck.

I think it is funny that a 29 gallon tank is considered small. That is the tank I have and I am keeping everything small also but to a beginner i would see how 30 gallons would be "big".

That's the whole point. It isn't a big tank. I'd rather have your 30 gallon than my 29 gallon. The difference in that 6" in length makes a big difference.

It's not the size of the tanks, it's how you use them. HMPH!

I guess my 16 and 10 would be considered mirco-machines then.

I have Platys and Guppies in my 29g. I am thinking of getting a Dwarf Gourami when I move though as a centerpiece.
Lots of tanks. Some tanks are planted. Fish include community and bettas.
2 Dachshunds. Angel (Red) and Cookie (Chocolate Dapple).
Shiny Things and Beauty the rabbits.
RIP Princess and Max the Dachshunds, Tiger and Ping Pong the rabbits, and all the fishes from when I was a newbie.
    It is Ldoerr NOT Idoerr.
Black kitten named Midnight that was found 10/29/12
