  1. Exclamation Is this ammonia okay?!

I bought this from a hardware shop today the woman said it was "pure" ammonia it doesn't troth up when shook but the person in the fish tank said it is for cleaning so dont use it then shown me a product of his own, dont know if these where just a bunch of lies to make money so i need your knowledge!! has anyone seen this or used it? The front is on the picture on the back it sais its a multi purpose cleaner and the list such as laundry aid and stain remover and no ingredients etc, this is for my fishless cyle, thankyou!

Doesn't contain any other ingredients other than Ammonia? If doesn't, its the right stuff. I defer to those that have done Fishless to advise further.

I dont know as it doesnt say the ingredients so am guessing so? And why do you?

I didn't do a fishless, but recommend it over the alternatives. If no ingredient list and only says something like Ammonia or 100% Ammonia, you probably have the right stuff. I would wait though and see if someone who's done a fishless is here to make 100% sure for ya.

Been reading about what to use. No suds in shake is good. Does it say Ammonium Chloride anywhere on bottle? Any phosphates? And doesn't say it's scented, right?

Shake the bottle. If there are bubbles that look and act the same way as water when you shake it it should be fine. (Bubbles disappear VERY quickly.) If it has bubbles that do not act the same as water it is the wrong stuff.
Lots of tanks. Some tanks are planted. Fish include community and bettas.
2 Dachshunds. Angel (Red) and Cookie (Chocolate Dapple).
Shiny Things and Beauty the rabbits.
RIP Princess and Max the Dachshunds, Tiger and Ping Pong the rabbits, and all the fishes from when I was a newbie.
    It is Ldoerr NOT Idoerr.
Black kitten named Midnight that was found 10/29/12

+1 to the above posters. You could provide a picture? If it is the right stuff I'm sure someone on this forum has seen it before.
