  1. Default Checo's 60 gallon

So I used to have a journal for this tank but I can't really find it so......
Here is my 60 gallon community tank. I received the setup(tank, stand, single tube t8 light, fluval 405 and heater) for free from some people I was working with, it was just sitting in their garage gathering dust. Its been running for about 2 1/2 years far mostly been host to community fish but has housed at times thomasi cichlids, jewel cichlids and a spiny eel. Its current occupants though are more mellow at a blue gourami, gold gourami, four neon rainbows, three swordtails, a bn pleco, a syno cat, and an assortment of cories(6 I think at the moment). So here's what its looked like over the years and now.

    First original layout

Then I moved so tank changed

    I discovered a good(free) source of anacharis

Got tired of it though and tore it all apart and re did it

Its now changed again and I am really liking the hardscape this time so I think it'll stay like this for a good amount of time I did away with the gravel and decided to experiment. The tank is now "Dirted" and capped with playsand. I was also able to score a nova quad t5 setup pretty cheaply too. I just added some more anacharis, as well as some java fern and anubias, since this picture. I've also learned how to plant with looks more in mind now. I'll try to get the update when I can.

But yup here's how it looks now minus new plants

Looks nice. I like how the tank has changed but not too too much. Good job.
Lots of tanks. Some tanks are planted. Fish include community and bettas.
2 Dachshunds. Angel (Red) and Cookie (Chocolate Dapple).
Shiny Things and Beauty the rabbits.
RIP Princess and Max the Dachshunds, Tiger and Ping Pong the rabbits, and all the fishes from when I was a newbie.
    It is Ldoerr NOT Idoerr.
Black kitten named Midnight that was found 10/29/12

Couldn't sleep and was bored so figured I'd get a couple pics of the tank with the new plants.

So for those of you that may have noticed my other post a while back this tank sprung a couple of leaks out of no where. The fish/plants were all transferred to a spare thirty gallon along with the filter while I worked on this one. I decided to give some of the current occupants to the LFS so as to not overwhelm the thirty. All is back together and well now all occupants, both fish and plants are doing great. Stocking now since the cut back is the two gouramis, the three swordtails (plus nine fry pulled from the thirty ie; tiny), the cory's, and the BN.
