I had my first experience keeping Ottos. I added them to my 20 gallon community tank and they are really neat! I love watching them swim around. Swim swim swim, STICK! Swim swim swim, STICK!
I was wondering how many of these do you think would comfortably fit in a Fluval Edge (6.6gal) as the only stock. I was thinking ~12 of them would fit in there comfortably. I've designed the tank with PVC caves and driftwood with some M. Minuta. I was originally going to make this shrimp tank, but after watching the Ottos I would love to just have several of those in there.

I wasn't going to just stick them in there without feeding them. I was assuming I could just give them the NLS Algae Wafers.

20 otos in a 10g made for baby otos. I moved the adults to my 75 after a couple of months quarantine and found more otos a few weeks later. Not many.
Personally I'd go with six in your Edge and see how it goes for a while. You can also add shrimp as Otos are the only fish that is known to never eat shrimp.

Thank you all for your input.
I have put 8 Otto's and 8 Pygmy Cory's in the tank. They all love the little tunnels and schoaling together.
