You paste your longer URL into a handy box at tinyurl.com and it gives you a shortened URL. You copy and paste that into your reply or post. Anyone Can do it, you just have to want to or need to.

The "trick" - I think - was hiding the fact that the poster was pointing the questioner to Google. A search of the internet or this forum would have given the questioner much more information than anyone would care to type.

They are everywhere on the net so not sure why you couldn't find them.
They come in several styles but mine is like this one. An airline goes from the air pump to this.

If you meant to type "can't find sponge filters" you aren't looking.
Any search engine will return lots of hits if you search for sponge filter. Google turns up over a million hits, with pictures on the first page.

Any online aquarium or pet supply shop will have at least two different styles.
www.bigalsonline.com and http://www.kensfish.com are great companies to do business with.
Ken's sponge filter page is http://www.kensfish.com/sponge-filter.html

Even Amazon.com lists sponge filters. 966 listings.

If you meant something else, please forgive my assumption.

That is seriously cool 850r. How did you do that as in capture the actual query?

Do your search. Right click on the URL of the resulting page that you like. Click copy then go to http://tinyurl.com/ and paste the copied URL into the box. Name it what you'd like in the next box.

Click on the Make TinyURL! button.

    What stores? please.
I do pride myself on my searching capabilities, but sometimes forget that I'm simply skilled at it. I'm not a good surgeon, dentist, or TV News personality.
I take my car to a mechanic as they are better at that than I am.

We don't know the stores around you, even the chain stores aren't all the same. So I don't know. Maybe, maybe not.

If you can't find one you can always get it online.
