Juvenile Cherry Shrimp and Community Tank?
Hi all! I bought 25 cherry shrimp online, and just got them today. I think most are juveniles, at about half a centimeter...or less...
I wanted to put them in my 75 gal with baby koi angels (between dime and nickle size), flame dwarf goruamis, zebra and pearl danios, cory cats, and a flying fox. I now am fearing these guys will just make a rather tasty snack. Will this be so? Not to mention, I have an Enheim cannister filter AND a Fluval 405 on the tank. Will these fish eat these lil' ones? What should I do??? If I set up a 2.5 gallon with a sponge filter, will this be enough until they get bigger?

I dumped a bunch of mine in my 55 planted that has an angel and rainbows in it. Only problem with all the plants, I hardly ever see the shrimp. Never see any wee babies, either, so amuse they are being eaten.
I think I would set up that smaller tank.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Agreed with lady hobbs. I had 2 full grown cherry shrimp with angels for 1 day, they were never to be seen again.
