help i need info first time molly owner!!!

i this is my first time freshwater tank, i have two 8/9 week old white mollies and three 5 wek old black mollies for about 3 days now, my white mollies are swimming around so fast following each other up dwn and all around the tank i am wondering if this is normal as the black ones are not doing that! they swim about but not as darty as the white ones i need to know if its normal, if not i want to help b4 it gets worse many thanx rachael :)

Sounds pretty normal, they are exploring. I would not worry about it.

If your water parameters test out fine, then you likely don't have a problem.

They could, however, be showing first signs of ammonia burn, if you haven't been testing your water. If you haven't already, there are good articles here on AC about cycling your tank, and tank set up.

Could also be their age. The older they get, the more adventurous they will become.
