    thank you for replying so quickly the thing is that i've had him for almost two years now and the other fish eat from the bottom 3/4 of the time but my black moor loves to get food from the top and he does it very quickly too because as soon i drop food in he races to top and rarely feeds from the bottom.

    i've got a 1.5ft tank should i put him in there?
    the thing is the last time i put him in it is when he got blood in his eye and that made it worst and if i move him theres a chance his eye will become much worse.

    woke up this morning and his eye has become slightly bigger and the cut has become smaller but it is also wider.

    what should i treat him with melafix?

    the cut had also become covered by skin which started to become like a bubble at the back of his eye

    29/08/2011:

    Blood building up around his eye. started melafix and has become more active.

    30/08/2011


    i've started him on melafix yesterday

    on the melafix bottle it says give everyday then on 7th day change 25% and continue if it hasn't gone. do i change any water in between that time?

    he is still very active and i've been feeding him tetra gold japan 3 times a day in small portions

    31/08/11:
    eye still the same condition
    eating well and still active.
