  5. Default

my tank is 20 gallon, yesterday the fish were all swimming at the top, gasping for air, i did 25% water change and conditioner, they would not eat either, had water tested today at Petsmart, all ok expect for very high ammonia, was advied to get Bio wheel and air pump with air stones which i did, came home chaned water again 25%, added conditior and Amquel plus for ammonia, after setting ecerything up the fish are like new. they are swimming about really well, but... i do have white spot on 2 of them, so raised temp up to 85 and got salt in it, also rid-ICH PLUS, had lost 4 fish yesterday, properly cos ammonia was so high, also was told to take filter out, am i doing right?? i think i did put too many fish in when i started, so now got around 12, learnt the hard way. any more advice?? thanks, this site is ace.
