As hockeyhead stated, bristol worms don't harm a thing. The become a part of your CUC. IMO, you will find them in every SW tank with live rock. I know I've got a few in my tanks, I see one every once in a while.

The only time you have to worry is if you see a lot of them. That would be a good indecation the something is not right with your tank, like overfeeding for example.

You can remove them if you want. But they certain won't harm anything if left in there

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I have never seen that happen in my tank, or hear of happening in anyone else's tank. As long as the population is not out of control, then you are OK. I have corals on the substrate and on the rocks in my tank, and have never had a problem.

Read up a little on them in the link I provided and you will see what I mean.
