the water looks a bit cloudy, but that is probably from the change, so right now im waiting for it to settle.

    ok, day 25

so i decided to add the 2 new fish a few days early, but this was only because they seemed to be struggleing in their 5g. so now they are both hiding somewhere in the 29g. great.

ammonia: .10ppm (very light yellow tube, but still kind of green)
    nitrite: .10ppm
    nitrate: 5- 10 ppm

other than the 2 new fish, they are all out and swimming happily together.

alright, so tonight i got home, and when i checked on my tank, i noticed that one of the new guppys was stuck to the filter. well that sucks. 1st death so far, and lets hope that it is the last. the water is still fine, but the other new guppy is still hiding in the bottom of the tank. :( poor guy.

    day 26?

alrighty! ok, so the other guppy finally came out of hiding, but he is kind of being shunned by the rest of the group. they are all swimming together, but he is off by himself. he is such a loner. :)

    so, todays readings:

    ammonia: 0.20ppm, ish
    nitrite: 0.20ppm ish
    nitrate:10ppm

I do not like that nitrite reading at all - 0.3 ppm nitrite can harm gills - I'd strongely suggest a 50% WC and watch the level - if it climbs over 0.25 ppm then do at least a 50% again. Try to increase oxygen - Salt would be a good idea.
