  1. Question bacteria in secondhand tank????

    0 Not allowed!
hey, a few months ago (january i think) i bought a secondhand 29g off of kijiji, and ive had to drain it and start again at least 5 times. i moved each of the fish into an empty 10g i had, and began again. i completed the cycle, and still had problems.

when i bought the tank, it was really dirty, you couldnt see the the back wall, and it was just discusting. i got home with it, and cleaned it really well with pure viniger, and then rinsed it really well, then let it sit for a few hours.

What my questions is, is that could there have been any bacteria that survived the viniger, and is that what is causing all of the problems?
