How sure are you it is pregnant? Was there a time it thinned out then go fat again cause then maybe another fish at the fry.

Most likely she was not pregnant right away or the first try was a failer then the guppy, with stored sperm, got pregnant again. With either 2 of those options is right then it should be due any day now.

Oh I did not know it was in breeder(net or trap right). Cause moving them in there can cause stress and failed spawnings. That may explain what happened. Just leave her in there and little babies should be floating around soon enough.

Breeder nets make absolutely no sense at all. They cause unnecessary stress to the mother guppy and make it easier for the fry to be eaten. Either the guppy wasn't pregnant right away or it had babies and then ate them all. It would be best to take the guppy out of the breeder not.

Thanks guys but taking her out of the breeder i would probably loose nearly all of the new born, all the other fish will have a field day, wont they? maybe best to leave her there and if i loose some then at least i will have the majority left.

I think since it is already in there and about to give birth she will just get stressed from the move back in to just give is a birthing then see what you want to do after that.

Putting the guppy in a breeder net does indeed stress the fish and can cause the fish the abort the pregnancy which can be harmful to the fish as stated by other members. But for now +1 to spidy's previous post.
It is best for the female to give birth in the same tank or a different one. I have had success with my guppies just giving birth in my tank, in my opinion not many guppies will eat their own fry my guppy just leaves to fry and they will just swim into my java moss and stay there.
