My "betta bulb"-A. ulvaceus plant, is Growing!
I was quite skeptical about buying the little package of bulbs at petsmart, having seen some of the not so happy customers here on AC. However, I decided that for 2.00, if they grew, if not I could at least have something to say about them.
I placed two out of 4 bulbs in a shallow container on my window sill and what do you know, 1 out of the two sprouted a little green leaf, and now it is off to the races! The gang of guppys haven't damaged it- one nipped a leaf, and decided he liked the Thera +A better!
I will try to post a pic soon! Posted!
I think its called an A. ulvaceus plant, but I'm sure someone will correct if not...Last edited by Cecile1; 06-10-2011 at 04:02 PM.

Thanks! I hope it will do well. I threw the two remaining bulbs into a container with water, so I hope I get some other type of plant!
