Thread: SPS growth

  1. #1

    Default SPS growth

Sometimes, when you look at a coral a lot, you don’t notice how much it can grow. I was looking back at some old picks and was a little surprised at the amount of growth of one of my acros. I’ve had this one for almost 4 months and it is really doing good

Just after adding it to the tank

    And today

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

When acros are happy, as in light and natural sea water levels of minerals, they can grow terrifically large over time. Wouldn't surprise me in a year that coral being ten times as large.

    Thanks guys

Dave: all of the SPS in this tank seam to be doing good so far. I have a few frags that I know have excellent growth as well, but I never did take any pics when I put then in the tank. I have a few frags of acros and a branching monti which there base has incrusted the whole frag plug and also spread out onto the rock. That's what tipped me off to think they must be growing really well.

    Thanks again guys
