Is it legal to have a Red Mangrove in California?
I was thinking of purchasing a Red Mangrove for my aquarium, however it said that some states may prohibited.
Does someone know if I can have one?Shine17

I actually found a place in Orange County as well, but I am definitely familiar with Dr. Fosters.
I wasn't sure and wanted to get it straightened out.
Thanks.
I just noticed that ocreef.com has a good selection of mangroves. So I'll see Dr. Fosters and make my decision.

You should be able to go onto your state's natural resources department website and see what is banned for keeping at home.

I know I am unable to bring them back from FL. You're not allowed to even cut them there.
