Was looking on a UK reef forum and came across a tank that is awesome, its the one my wife liked in the Salt water LFS we found.

Its a Lifespace betta 1000 tank and comes with all the pipework, sump and return pump so is effectively plug and play!!!!!

The only things I might do are look at increasing the sump capacity as its a 10G sump at the mo, I've got a 20G tank doing nothing in my loft but I've also got the 28G my SW stuff is currently in aswell. Hmmmmm lol

I can't wait to collect it!!
Used to try and keep track of my fish here.....

Ran out of room and time!!!

Instead I'll tell you the best piece of fishkeeping equipment ever....... Algae Scrubber :)

Congrats on the new tank !!!

Now, you should not be shocked my by next question........ When can we expect some pics ?????

    LOL

Are you planning a tank journal ? It would make a great thread
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Yes yes and yes.... Oh wait, that really only answers one of the questions lmao

I'm collecting it on monday night and will start a journal pretty much straight away. I'll be posting pics asap too!

Don't expect this to be a quick process however as I've got to fit a new carpet in the dining room before the tank gets positioned and filled. Could be Middle of next month before I look to be filling it.

Gives me time to think more about the sump design etc first.

I want to get as big a sump in there as possible as I want to run the algae skimmer and refugium as my main phos/nit filtration but want room for a decent sized skimmer as a backup.

Also I will not have the cash (well, cannot justify raiding the savings) for extra live rock, corals etc straight away so whats in the current tank will be built into small centeralsed reef with plenty swimming space on both sides.

I'm also going to be using my 60cm light unit on it running front to back meaning the two side areas will not be highly light.

I should be saving this for the journal lmao

I'm well excited!!!! Can you tell?

What are its dimensions? In the picture it looks a little short for a 90 gallon

    29 gallon-planted community

    20 long frag tank
    75 gal-planted goldfish

75 gallon mixed reef with 20 gallon sump

    its 3x2x2 feet.

The 2ft in height is measured from base to the bottom of the overflow so the actual height of the tank is a few inches higher than that.

    Think the external size is 36 x 24x 27
