New to aquarium forum
Hi~ well, I signed up a while back and now came here to see about Plecos. I have printed out the abbreviations so I can understand what is being said!
Set up my tank after moving w/o fish. Unfortunately, my new fish kept dying. The water tested correct in all areas and the personnel at the pet store were stumped. I decided to buy a new pump as the old one had been in storage for 7 months and I thought maybe the biofilter had gone bad. Must have been something, as I have not lost any fish since I made that purchase.
I have a 10 gal tank, 3 white clouds, 3 cardinal tetras, 1 goldfish and 1 albino pleco (not sure of species, but father has a cape-like looking thing on back and is not bristlenosed) I am going to get pictures so maybe we can figure out what I have together.
My fish keep me company; I would like to purchase a larger tank that is more vertical and work again with my guppies..they were so much fun.

^_^ Welcome to the community
That goldfish is going to grow way too big for a 10 gallon; an adult goldfish grows over a foot long. And most plecos grow almost as big or bigger.

You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.

Welcome Back
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
