Anubias from Nov. 2006

I switched my 27g fixture over to a plant bulb and bought some cabomba for my tank. I was digging around in there and found this (see picture). It's the coffee leaf anubias that I bought at the end of 2006. This plant was almost dead when I moved april of 2009 and I figured with the tank not having any natural light for 2 years that any plants would be long gone (plus I have a giant plant eating apple snail). The darn thing is actually sending out leaf buds since I moved it to a small tank away from the snail. I also found 2 small clumps of java fern that are growing leaves now too. It really proves that these plants are hard to kill!
