Combining two tanks?
I was wondering how to unseal aquariums ... I was thinking of unsealing the long side of two ten gallons and sealing them back together as a 20 gallon. Also how should I handle the plastic? Also this does not need to hold water I just need to to stay together. I was debating taking off all the plastic

Yeah, really not worth it . Buy a 20 long or if you really need exact dimensions, get some glass cut of the right width and start from scratch. You're just causing more hassle and wasting more money by trying to accomplish that.

I am with everyone above me. Petco even has a 1$ per gallon sale most holidays that you could take advantage of. Take the DIY time and build a hood, stand, decorations, ect.. But 20 Gallons of water is not something you want flooding any amount of space inside your home/apartment.20G Long Planted Community.
