New to Fishkeeping
my family has usually had fish, and i've wanted a tank for my room since forever. I got one for my 17th birthday in March and completley screwed it up in all honestly.
1. My tank is too small so i'm now saving up for 150L one for my lovly's then i'm turning my 34L in my room into a tank for a fighter and some guppies.
2. i wasn;t aware of the dangers of cycling until the day after i got my fish. but i know now and they all survived.
But let me introduce myself.
I have 5 goldfish.
Luther - black moor
Hoppus - Gold fantail
Ratis - white, black speckled fantail
Demetri - Brown/black fantail
Ruby - White Comet
Ruby is the new girl, i just go her yesterday (well i'm assuming she's a girl for now)
I also have a snail who've i've dubbed Edward.
I've just discovered how much i love fish. Very excited about getting them into the big tank they deserve.
I'm 17 so still at home, I own my 5 fish, 1 dog (Buster - cattledog/kelpie) and a cat (british shorthair X)
my mum has a cattledog/border collie and a boxerX
my sister has a kelpie/foxy and 2 blue tongued lizards (bessy and bruce)
we're very animal orientated and i'm more than a little dog obsessed.
I didn't know i'd be this into fish, but i love them so much. still learnign heaps though.

Hello!
There's lots of useful advice here, and there are others with 150 litre tanks too. Don't be afraid to ask any or all questions!Currently: Spotted Blue-eyes, two species of Australian shrimp, Ornate Rainbowfish, Guppies, Corydoras, goldfish.
