Video of the 55G
I changed the bulbs to give it more of a natural look, I now have 2x12,000K Daylights and 2x460nm Actinics. The tank is much more blue without being too dark looking than the previous lighting setup. The tank isnt nearly as noisey as in the video, it is actually pretty silent.

Great looking tank JennIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.
A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

Looks fantastic Jenn!!55g Long --> After 18mo of doing well the tank crashed during moving. Most likely cause: Flatworm Die-off... won't start another until after moving... Likely not until late 2013
20g Long --> currently concoting a build plan
