    Red face New Addition

    So, I picked up this German Blue Ram (female) yesterday. Hopefully I will be more successful with her than most people. Check out my aquarium, tell me what you think.

    Thanks, I barley got the Ram but the color on her already spiced up a bit. The barbs seem to get more color when you feed them a varied diet of veggies and stuff like blood worms.

    Wow! So that's what cherry barbs are supposed to look like?
    I'd never seen them "at home" in a tank, only in the stores. I wondered why everyone was excited about those sad, drab little fish. I can't believe how beautiful they are when they color up! Maybe they should be in my future....

    When I first bought them they were not as colorful, they were more pinkish than red. But after a week or two they colored up nicely. Cascade you should definitely get some, they do not school as tightly as most other schooling fish, but they are very playful and active all the time.
