    there is a website somewhere that has a list of plecos, profiles & pics...but i can't find it!

    hope someone else has it - its great - you can just match the pic...

    I usually try to match the profiles myself before asking. I was hoping someone had seen it or had experience with it.

    I suck at plec ID, but that is a sweet looking plec. It reminds me of a species, but I can't remember the name right now.

    there is a place near me that sells some really neat looking plecos.
    it's called "that fish place" check out there website..I go to the store often and i would have to say there plecos are some of the coolest looking fresh water fish they have.some of them aren't cheap but they are still cool.

    Looks like the ones the lfs calls chocolate, but I don't know which species those actually are. I think they may be a color variant of the common Hypostomus, though there are several different species of those too.

    IIRC the "Chocolate" plecs sold at places like Petsmart are actually a species from the Gibbiceps genus. That sucker is bound to get huge.
