    Default New Dragon!

I promised myself once I finished redecorating my room, emptying out and reorganizing my closet, and cleaning my bathroom I'd get a new betta for my empty 3g. I normally go to the local Petco for my bettas (they have a gorgeous selection, some of the prettier bettas I've seen actually. Some might even be worth breeding) but I stopped at the lfs first to get some more drift wood and to see if they ever carried the fish I'm wanting for the 30. It was also a good excuse to take my cousins and teach them about fish. The lfs has a weak betta selection normally, but they must have found a local breeder, because the bettas were beautiful! Some stunning white, marbled and butterfly halfmoons, and and some dragons. I got one of the dragons, my cousins helped me pick. Like Charcarias I had to get him because he had a bubble nest already lining his little spitton of a cup.

And the little dragon needs a name, so share any suggestions that jump out to you!

And here is his humble abode

For his name I'm considering Minos, the judge of the dead in Dante's Inferno, or Asmodeus, the demon prince of lust (considering he had a bubble nest that was looking quite professional).

He is very handsome! Why not George, ironical for St. George killing the dragon?
