i got a hitcher in my liverock!
No pics yet,but it lokks like a big hermit crab with no shell. I suppose he thinks he is big enough to wear a 10 lb pc of dead coral as his house. At least the mantis can't bust that!

it would have been pretty funny if your hitchhiker was another mantis.300 gallon mega tank: sailfin pleco, clown loaches, silver dollars, roseline sharks, congo tetras, new world cichlids
125 gallon office tank: Africian cichlids, synodontis catfih
75 gallon community tank: bolivian rams, black skirt tetras, dwarf neon rainbowfish, corys, harlequin rasboras, otos, bristlenose and bulldog plecos, assassin snails, various shrimp
60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish

Maybe it is another mantis! Maybe you have a male and a female now! Maybe they'll mate!

I'm jealous, I cured my rock during the cycling of my tank so I did not get any hitchikersIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
