    When the tetras scatter there eggs would it be safe to get what i can and place them in a guppy breeding tank to let them grow in there till they are big enough to swim free with the parents

    not familier with black widdow, maybe they goes by different name up here. could be anywhere from a dozen too the 1000 eggs. not all will hatch. one spawn of neon had over 100 youngs at time to sell.

    Ive trained my blackskirts to take food from my hands and they will jump just above the waters surface to get food from me now

    Has anyone here ever bred and had sucsessful fry?

    blackskirts are one of the easiest tetras to breed. The fry is very small and will need small food. The parents eat their eggs if not removed after spawning.
