    Sorry to be OT:

He thinks he's tough, but if you go near the tank to quickly he startled and whips around the tank. I don't know how many times I have uttered the statement "If the darn Severum is dead in the morning, it's his own fault!"
He's the reason I don't have Lava rock in my tanks anymore!

I've had one male sev for for almost 10 years who can't live with anyone else... I've tried every different combo and he beats up everything... he lives alone in a 60g tank... all my others are so peaceful, in the 300 gallon they don't even touch neons!

Talked to someone at the pet store a couple months ago and they had a renegade angel like that. He's killed everything they ever tried him with. He would even kill full grown females. I don't like mean fish.......or dogs.

My female sev is like that, killed males that were bigger then her. She lives in a 40L by her self now with one bristlenose. She is my guppy eater when I have some that need to be culled.

Luckily both my sevs are really peaceful, although my gold sev wants to hide all the time. A rescape of the tank helped a ton Im thinking adding some plants would be good.

I have two 6 inch severums ,a bonded pair in my 125 gal with a 1 inch flying fox and a butt load of small yo yo's and no predation problem. The ameca's are in the tank also. But the menu available for the aquarium inhabitants is quite extensive.

I have 3 sevs in my 70. The dominant male is a 3" green that seized power overnight from a similarly sized gold. The 3rd is a green from the same batch as the other but is very submissive and has permanent vertical stripes. Hes an inch smaller than the other two. While the big green displays aggression towards the others its never so bad that they cant escape or eat. Mine are never skittish though, always at the front of the tank.

Heres a photo of the 3 on the left side of the tank. They live in relative peace with their other tankmates

Its 100% severum. Thats how they look when a much more dominant sev is around. This guy was from the same batch as the bigger green
