One of my fem beta.
Im no Beta expert,but this was sold to me as a female.Ive had her for about 6 months.

I could be wrong, but it looks like that's a male. Typically females have much shorter fins. Good looking fish though.

They sell ones that look like this as fems all the time there.My wife has had a few,they dont flare or show any aggression either.I also have a fem that looks like a fem should look in with this one. He/she shows no interest toward her.Whatever it is,its a well behaved beta for sure.

Check just behind the ventral fins. If there's a white spot, it's a female. If there's no spot, it's a male
