  1. Default Went shopping today!!

I am getting ready to set up my 45g Hex heavily planted tank tomorrow. I am going to be putting my well seeded AC 70 in there from my 55 Gallon tank. Moneys tight this time around so I had to make sure I got the bare necessities.... My 4 emerald cories, peacock eel and (two soon to be bought) angelfish will eventually go in there.
My purchases for the tank today is :
Fluval U2 (12-30 gallons)- I wanted a in the tank filter, and another canister isnt a option right now, so I figured this would be a nice addition to the AC70. I cant find the U3 or U4 around here, so this works.
The AC70 has two sponges and the ceramic rings in it. I will swap out some rings from my RENA PX3 and use them in the Fluval U2 so that will be seeded a little too.
Rena Air pump rated for 50 gallons.
I will feel better running this as the tank is going to be really deep and I worry about the water towards the bottom not getting cirulated and my corys and Eel suffering. Ive heard really good reviews about this pump and it was on sale so I figured id give it a shot. I will have a ceramic microfine bubble stone down there with some tubing in the bottom. It was the same price as a cheap air pump so I figured RENA has never done me wrong before...
2 bags of Floramax Midnight and ill be mixing in sand and some leftover black sand that I have. I want a deep base to work with for my plants. My corys really like rooting around this stuff in my other tank and I like how it looks.

There will be one huge wavy leaf sword, I forget what its called, one sword, several bulb plants ive been growing, other assorted plants ive picked up along the way. I will be planting everything towards the back and around the sides.

My last purchase I need to look in tomorrow will be some sort of light for the tank. It has a regular light on the hood but I want something much stronger for all the plants.

Im excited to get everything together and loved going out shopping for it LOL!!!

Fish shopping is fun. I picked up some black sand and some frozen goodies for my fishies today. I also had a look at the tanks/stands for sale. Think there might be another aquarium in my immediate future!

I went shopping yesterday and never got to leave my computer. Takes all of fun out of driving for 2 hours in the winter and stomping thru the store only to find nothing. LOLOL
