i wasnt able to find it in my area either, so i decided to use antibiotics (erythromycin) after all (kindof a double whammy as it killed the blue green algae right up, and i put on of my bloodfin tetras in who developed a mouth/head fungus from rubbing his upper lip raw). insted of 3.5 packets which they said to use for my 36gal i only used two.

the bloodfins fungus cleared up in about two days, and same with the algae. now i dont have to worry about my bloodfin, or replacing all my plants again!

Sorry for not keeping up with the posts One week and one day after first treatment........

BGA is non-present. All that was present when I started is gone and none has come back. Theres a noticable difference on how well the plants are growing now that its not covering their leaves. No losses whatso-ever. Corys still seem 'tired' from time to time, but they are much better looking and swimming like their usual, crazy selves.

I highly recomend this product. It does just what its supposed to do. It cost me around $27 CAD, took around a week to arrive and works. I got mine from Big Al's online. Unfortunatly, there is not a whole hell of a lot of product. I have a 46 gallon and the container of product gave me 2 doses - 2 days apart (which did the trick) and there probably isn't enough for another dose.

Hi, I couldn't find the ultralife blue green remover on Big Als, only the red slime remover, just wondering what the shipping was as well to Canada and you never know when customs is going to slap on duty
