Hubby drove me to orchestra last night.
I was tired and crabby...and so was he...but he needed to do some more work at the office...so we both went to town. I might not have gone otherwsie...

As far as I know these weren't commissioned, they were her altering and experimenting with the pattern. First one's a longfin. Both are for sale ^_^

It took me forever to figure out what the 'new' birds at the bird feeders were...because they were females/immatures...
Then a mature male came...and ID was no problem:
Pine Grosbeaks!
...and no...I have never seen one before...they're pretty cute!

...some days it's hard to find that rosie moment...lost a couple more of the older chickens...including my favourite rooster...this week...
However! Had a good chat with my younger son! His marks are better at school and he's starting to think about going to University...so that's a step forward...
