my "mom" called today to give me her very first email address.

I know its kind of silly, but I am so very much better sending out a quick email than I am sending a quick card via snail mail.

My mom's been using the internet a lot longer than I have and I only just taught her how to copy and paste links into emails

...my son went sledding Sunday evening...and didn't break his nose...

He's rather scratched up and his face looks icky...but the nose is good!

My daughter managed to find most of her stolen books on-line...saving herself several hundreds of dollars...and I didn't have to help her do it...lol. I'm double-happy!

Sometimes when I'm bored.... I find forums where people are posting hot and heated about some issue that in the grand scheme of things is really not that big of a deal.... and then I imagine all the responses I could come up with if you were to misinterpret the acronyms, abbreviations and creative typing they were doing to try and avoid being censored.

Mind you, I don't post them... but its good for a couple giggles.
