    Default 2.5 Gallon Pico Reef

    0 Not allowed!
Here is my 2.5 gallon pico reef setup. At the moment it has liverock, some soft/hard corals, a few small hermit crabs, some micro stars, and a Green Clown Goby. It's been running for about 6 months and seem to be doing very well (aside from the red slime issue). Let me know what you all think.

Thanks! The photos were taken shortly after the lights came on, so some of the coral wan't fully 'awake' yet! I also added a few pieces since these pics, so I may take some updated shots soon.

Thanks! It was my first attempt ever with saltwater, so I was pretty nervous to start! Now I'm addicted!

    Gas mileage isn't everything OIIIIIIIO
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

Thanks again everyone! I need to do some maintenance tonight...I will try to get some pics after I'm finished.

To answer one of the questions from above...I try to chose corals that stay on the small side...If they happen to outgrow the tank, I know some stores that would gladly give me store credit for them.
