Yesterday, I had my routine eye exam at our local eye clinic. I am beginning to form cataracts, though they aren't problematic, yet. Dr. wants to keep an eye on them (pun intended if you want it that way).

Today it's very, very hot. Too hot to do anything outdoors. I changed the water in my 20 and fed the fish in both the 20 and 65.

Am being lazy, today. Vacuumed the staircase and put some clean laundry away, but other than that, it's a dog day.

    More later ...

I stayed in town yesterday to go for 'ladies night' dinner with friends...so I didn't get a chance to 'rest'...and sure enough...my ankle poofed out again.

Tried for some more retail therapy at the mall...lol. All those stores...all those sales...and I came home with one nice sweater (for work). Regularly $55....and with sales, discounts and points...I got it for free. That was fun!

We went to an upscale restaurant. There wasn't really much for me on the menu. So I ordered a salad...and then in case it wasn't enough...I also ordered the fries in truffle oil...(upscale fries!). Good thing...because my expensive salad consisted of what amounted to one tomato. No idea of how many calories were in the fries...lots I suspect...but I was starving when we left.

Food was beautifully plated. And the restaurant was freezing...good thing I had just bought that sweater...

I am right now in Halifax, at my aunt and uncle's place for the weekend. Going to Upper Clements Park tomorrow with my sister.

The computer gremlin is back; my desktop suddenly quit working last night, and I dropped the tower off at the repair shop before I left Sydney. Hope it's fixed by Monday...

The cat licenses came in the mail so I went to the pet store and bought them new collars. I also picked up this awesome piece of wood I want to use to add some height in my tank..... It doesn't fit in the 5 gallong bucket... and the first rubbermaid tub I got is split at the bottom, which I didn't see until I started running the water to fill it. I guess I shall wait til tomorrow to sort out how I want to soak it.

Just got home from doing a massage -- long-time female client who works very hard during the day.

Hubby is supposed to pick up 6 more blue glofish for me at the LFS. He isn't back, yet. I told him if they had 6 or more blue ones, to get 6. If they had fewer than 6, then get all the blue ones they had. I hope they still had some.

I plan on putting two more into my 20, and the rest into my 65. That'll make seven blues in the 65.

    Still very hot, today ...

I was hoping to clean up and repaint the metal stand my 4ft is on, well the miserable weather fixed that! Still i may put the 4ft tank onto the kitchen table and the 3.5ft under it as well, so the stand is ready to get done when i can.

Delivered my peppermint BN juvies to their new owner and now i have enough to buy my new 4'x20"x18" and stand...woooohoooooooooooo

Had to drive my partners work car home, darn thing is huge compared to my little car *L* We got home in one piece so all is good!

I have company (family coming tomorrow) so today is clean up day, and fish tank day, as the rest of the weekend will be busy.

If I have time, I should mow the lawn, but I doubt I will do it even if I do have time, lol - I'd much rather go rollerblading...its so obviously fall now, the nice weather seems precious and not-to-be-wasted...
