Forgot to mention in my post that my left shoulder is badly damaged, so I'm right now avoiding anything that could make it worse. Having an arm that's partially dead weight is not fun at all ><

Thanks, Rue... I have to wait for the swelling to go down in the joint. Because I'm "vertically challenged" (i.e. short), I developed bursitis in my left shoulder. It's irreversable, unfortunately, and I'm pretty sure it's cumulative. When the swelling gets too bad the nerves in my shoulder get compressed and the arm goes numb. Only thing I can really do is learn to live with it.

And it does make hauling my college books interesting, though not in a good way >>

Too expensive; I have no medical insurance at the moment. Normally my bursitis is dormant; I'm not sure why it flared up this time. Hopefully the swelling will subside soon

Yesterday I went to look (again) for a new laptop bag. The handles are about to give on mine and it's not worth repairing. Couldn't find a bag...so I went wandering and came home with a discounted leather car coat...

Do I need new clothes, including jackets? Yes. Because I've lost weight I have a very small, inadequate wardrobe and am slowly starting to buy stuff again.

Do I need a leather car coat? Nope. Not at all. I need many other things BEFORE getting a car coat. However, I definately will wear it. It's so soft and smells so good...

It was 'originally' $480...discounted to $260 and on clearance for $120. That makes it all okay, right? Right?

Yes Rue, of course it is okay! We can't spend ALL our money on fish now, can we?

Skull, congrats on the chicks! I keep a small flock of ducks and LOVE having them around the yard. I've had chickens before and they were great too, but I need the ducks for extra slug patrol (banana slugs are aptly named, and not just because they are yellow...)

What kind of chicks did you order?
