Ohh well, no trip to Big ALS. Our wash machine died, tech came and it's the control board. Tells us the bearings will probably go next as it's common to the Cabrio. So, off we went and bought a new LG washer instead. Oh well, there's always next week...

This is more what I'm NOT doing...which is walking the dogs. I keep waiting for spring and nice weather...and when it's nice it seems I'm too busy (generally at work during the day and then by the time I get home and dinner is done with, it's cold and dark outside). And when I have do time it's always blizzarding, really windy...or just too cold...

I could try and suck it up more...but it's more complicated than it should be...

Soon...soon it HAS to be nice outside again? Right?

We came back from spring (apple orchards in full bloom) to a blizzard! Ick! However, it's supposed to be 17 C today, so maybe the snow will be gone by the end of the day (talk about 'odd').

I walked every day of our holiday...to try to get back into dog-walking shape. I'm still jet-lagged and overtired, but maybe this afternoon - if it's dry enough - I'll head out with the three of them for a short walk. The mini-dachsie can't go on the long dog walks anymore...but we'll do a slow mile...

Otherwise...I need to finish catching up on some little things today...need to do the books and some tidying while I have the chance and before I head back to work.

I'm moping around the house doing nothing and still in my jammies. My parents left this morning after visiting for Easter...miss them already...house is so quiet when vistors leave...I am working away from home for the next couple weeks, and being a homebody that's depressing too.
But Spring is coming, may long weekend is coming, and then the summer when I can start taking some vacation time...lots to look forward to once I get past this little mope.

After a lazy day I just finished packing for this week's trip. Denmark again! Lucky for me the trip was last minute and the economy section of the plane was booked.

Technically I am posting this with my plans.. but I am excited so I wanted to share.

I am going yarn shopping! I need to get some yarn as a gift exchange.... and the yarn store is a bit of a drive but today it will be on the way so... yarn! wooo

Also we will stop at the pet store that is my fish store. Not going to buy any fish this time though... just hopefully a pheromone collar for one of my cats. She is showing some signs of hyperesthesia. (Tail biting/aggression, more frequent calling and sometimes rather moody) So we are going to see if the pheromones and dietary changes will help. From some of my reading it seems the Feliway/pheromone style treatment is a bit of a 50/50 crap shoot on if it will work or not. Here's hoping!

Lastly... we are going to see fields upon fields of tulips! We try to get up for the tulip festival every couple of years... its a nice day trip.

Adding 2" of black sand to the front of my cube as only 1/2 was 4" deep. Looks much better now with 5" at the back sloping down to 4" in the front.
Got some of the new Scott's coated grass seed for the bare spots under our big tree out front. Hope it works... Spring has finally sprung. 😊

I goofed and went to an appointment that had been cancelled...since I now had extra time, I thought I'd make the best of it and go give the Jeep a good wash after all the mud I'd been driving through lately...

I was gridlocked in traffic for about 30 minutes...then waited another 30 minutes in the car wash line-up...

...and then the hose (up at the ceiling) came loose from the arm and I got a shower...

The good news: FREE CAR WASH! Woohoo!
