...I am done work...off to violin lesson...then grab some take-out to eat for dinner in the car on the way to sign the 17-year old up for soccer. Today is the last day of registration. We found out at lunch.

Quiet weekend...errands...some housework. Bought the 2nd season of Game of Thrones, started watching it...today...more of the same...

I got voluntold to spray the waterproofing stuff on my father's new work boots. The instructions on the can say to wear a mask while using the stuff, but my parental units did not provide one, so I had nothing to block the fumes, and those fumes are strong XP I am now nursing the mother of all migraines.

At home this morning, doing some house-stuff...unexpected seminar this afternoon I'll drive in for...should be fun...

...and I really hope there's NOTHING on this evening...I'm looking forward to my sofa...

Mom bought a car, an '09 two-door Ford Focus, blue. Finally, a vehicle I can actually drive! I haven't seen it yet, but I've seen the picture of it mom printed off. It's a nice-looking car.

I've completed 11 of the 14 sidequests in Silent Hill: Downpour ^_^ There are two more I can finish in this playthrough, once I get through St Maria's. After I finish with the orphanage I'll be heading to the Port District area, where the last bird cage needed for the Birdman achievement is located, as well as the house where the Mirror Mirror sidequest is done. Right now I'm at 40% of the way through the game. Hoping to get the Shadow Boxer achievement while running around St Maria's, since the place is infested. Not so sure I'll be able to get the Pinata Party achievement, as I seem to have run out of Weeping Bats to throw things at.

Silent Hill: Downpour lesson of the day: ALWAYS give the Prisoner Minions one more whack with the ax than you think they need. They have an annoying habit of getting back up just after you think they've been incapacitated

Apparently miracles do happen... My neighbor, after 17 months of doing everything he can to weasel out of having to pay me, finally paid up. I'm shocked.

I have a long and busy day ahead...filled with a bunch of little 'to do' type chores. I seem to have a lot of those...whether at home or at work...

I just have time to finish my coffee...and off I go!

Almost done with St Maria's in Silent Hill: Downpour. I stumbled into the crack in the wall full of Dolls and got my Shadow Boxer achievement. Went back to retrieve the fire axe after beating the Dolls, found the crack gone and the axe hanging on the wall. Also ran into a Weeping Bat I didn't even see and got my Pinata Party achievement. I'm now 58% of the way through the game and heading for the morgue to get the boat key. But first I have to make it through the Monastery Otherworld... More being chased around by the Void. Great

Just had a busy couple of hours. I feel ready to quit for the day...and it's only 11:30! Maybe I need an early lunch?

I have my violin lesson after work, followed by a quartet rehearsal...so I'm busy tonight too!
