My sister and her friend Kayla came down from Halifax for the weekend. I didn't see much of them as they were gone most of the time, and I'm the kind who spends most of the day asleep.

I started playing Pokemon Diamond on my DS two nights ago. I now have almost 10 accumulated hours playing. Now I know why these games are called addictive...

Last day of classes...so other than making up a new exam...I can relax a bit. I still have the other job to do...but it shouldn't be so stressful now. Maybe I can actually go for coffee or meet someone for lunch again!

...and I can focus a bit on getting ready for Xmas. Not that we do much, but I put it all together...so I need a little time to focus on gifts, decorating a bit and figuring out what we're eating and when we're eating it...

running to the mail to price shipping to Canada costs....
Block some more knitting counterpanes I got done while I was traveling....

*bangs head on desk repeatedly* For the last week and a half I've been trying to sell a sterling Silver collector coin that I bought from the mint back in 1998. It's part of the Ocean Giants series and has a pair of beluga whales on it. Had someone interested in buying it, but after a week of chasing him around he decides not to buy. I am very, very frustrated.

Finished with the work for Job #1, now working on Job #2...then going to the doctor...then errands if there is time, then lesson...then pick up hubby at the airport...

Should be home by 7:30 tonight...

The best way to annoy a betta is to change his/her water... Sunny and Lady Blue got their tanks cleaned today, and neither are at all happy about it. Sunny's even crankier than usual because of it.

I reposted my ad for the collector coin two days ago, and I got two more nibbles on it. This afternoon someone came to buy it ^_^

The Miserable Mutt got a flea bath yesterday, and he has been hiding ever since XD

Today: Clean the house...rehearse my recital piece (I need to be better than the 4 year olds this year! Yup!)...and then we are going to a small town dinner theatre...er, not in 'our' small town...in a different one...

I just got the plants in and started the cycle on my first ever aquarium. Now that the fun part is over, schoolwork. I was required to come up with a term assignment that relates to artificial intelligence, so I'm writing an evolutionary algorithm to try to figure out how we should combine to produce the most ideal human in the fewest generations. Obviously I'm posting here as a form of procrastination.

Well...the nerves still got the better of me at recital...so I was not better than the kids...

But on the bright side...I did better than last year, on a harder piece...so I'm still movin' forward!

Man...I'm so tired of the ice...and it's not even officially winter yet.

Have a slight cold starting up. Not too bad, but it's just another irritant on top of big pile of irritants...*bleh*

Work...head home early. We're slowing down for Xmas and I'm just going to enjoy the slow down.

But first I have a luncheon to attend! Yay...free food!
