The roads just cleared up...and now it's supposed to snow again. *argh* can't get a break. And my handy-dandy go-to person to pull me out of ditches will be gone for a while again. I should get a CAA membership. I'm gettin' too old for this...

Work, violin lesson...go home, hopefully watch TV...

I found out tonight that my other sister, Kate, who's been living in Halifax the last couple of years, broke up with her boyfriend. She'll be moving back to the island as soon as she can get a job here.

I brought out my custom-made Santa hat today (Alaskan white fox and red velvet). Why? Just because. That's generally the only reason I need to do anything.

Also, a bottle of pop sprayed all over my keyboard last night... I spent a couple hours detail-cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and Q-tips. It was a mess

...the roads are no longer clear...major snowfall.

I think I just wasn't prepared for so much snow and ice so early into the season. This is usually what we get in late December or January. I still have some yard stuff to do!!! LOL...it will have to wait until spring now...

I am holing up at home today. I'm way behind on my housework. Who knew working half-time would be so time-consuming? I'm beat.

I will practice today though. My new violin is sounding better and better. I have it for another week before I have to take it back for further tweaking...

We are having a bit of a warm snap this weekend here in Ohio. It's going to be in the 60's. I already went out and washed my new car for the first time and most likely the last until spring. Here soon I'm going to put on a big pot of chili and wash up some unis for work. I was supposed to have tomorrow off but I got suckered into working a short day (only 8 hours) and then back at it for two more. Ugh. Oh well. Gotta pay for my fishies.

Tested the water on my two tanks today (results can be seen in my journal). Waiting to go to a meeting for the local Anime Convention that i volunteer at every year.

...I got most of my housework done yesterday. If I get motivated I might tackle cleaning out the hall closet...it's turned into more of a dumping ground than a useful space...and I do use it. Tired of stuff falling out of it everytime I open the door.

We dug ourselves out of the snow storm yesterday (even I shovelled!)...so hopefully we'll be 'clear' for a few days now...

Otherwise...practice on my new violin. I had to put it down yesterday because I couldn't play anymore (hands and arms getting tired) vs. being tired of it...

Then make dinner...the 3 kids will be home as far as I know. Good day for a bison roast...mashed potatoes...and my standard salad that we all like...

Worked on my holiday yesterday...long day too...but that's how I have the experiments set up...didn't think about holidays...

I have today off though...but I'm too tired to do much.

Skipped rehearsal last night too. My mistake was laying down. I was so stiff when I got up I couldn't work up any enthusiasm to drive back to the city...

Live and learn...

Today: Recover (so I can go back to work tomorrow)...

...that includes doing laundry and some odds'n'ends...
