    Well since I tackled the bedroom painting and the quilt shop isn't open today... think I shall start work on the laundry/mud room.

    I'd like to find some bins for my laundry shelf so my rags aren't always in the cascading pile and things are a bit neater. I'd also like to find a nice hook for hanging up my water changer hose under the mudroom sink, the coiled hose in empty laundry basket isn't doing it for me so much anymore.

    My dinner turned out. The 'kids' were all happy with it! S'all good!

    Today: Work and rehearsal...same old. But that's okay. You need a routine to appreciate the 'other' things that happen.

    Laundry day. I'm the type who lets the laundry pile up until the very last minute, then almost chokes the washing machine with it. So today it's all getting washed.

    My computer headphones flaked out last night, so I have to go and get a new pair. I can only afford the cheap ones, so I have to keep replacing them. Can't afford the good ones that last forever, as they generally cost an arm and a leg.

    I'm also looking at another finger armor ring, this one made to resemble a spinal column and ending in a claw. This one's for Halloween, as if the backbone shape wasn't a huge hint ^_^;;;

    Well originally it was going to be quilt shop and fish store, but apparently the quilt shop isn't open on Mondays, so... its more Christmas gift making/laundry/kitchen organizing.

    Anyone need dishes/flatware?

    I was home yesterday. Got caught up on laundry and some other small things. Downloaded a music theory program and a cheap 'Learn Russian' on my iPod. I'll see if that keeps me entertained while I do my assembly line stuff at work this afternoon. I can only listen to music for so long...need a change.

    I might try an audiobook down the road too...that's not something I've ever really tried either...

    I'd be quite happy listening to talk radio...but can't get it in the lab I'm in for some reason...at least not on my iPod...and it's too loud for a radio (fans) not to mention I'd potentially disturb other people...

    Well yesterday I went to the quilt shop and pet shop. And tomorrow the man is home again finally.

    So today is ome regular maintenance... like the fish tank and vacuuming the house, the cat box, etc.

    And hopefully I have time to plant at least the plants that came in the mail before he gets home.

    I'll have to save mulching all the flowerbeds for his next trip (which happens after the weekend )

    So I have been driving offspring #1 to place after place (won't let him drive my Truck, lol) when other vehicles aren't available. Gosh, things sure have changed! Resumes, phone interviews, 3 on site interviews to get a job at a lousy Best Buy. The day's of showing up with a resume, in a nice set of clothes, firm hand shake and a smile to get the job seem to be gone. My younger boy got a job that way at a Putting Edge, an indoor black light mini-putt/arcade that generally hosts Birthday parties. Went with resume in hand, big smile and talked himself into a job on the spot, but that said, it's a mini-putt place. Anyone else have kid's trying but not getting those "jobs", even seasonal???
