Whatcha doin' today?

...was going to run errands this morning...then attend rehearsal tonight...but my lazy side over-rode my diligent side...and I'm staying home this morning and doing laundry instead.

To my credit...I'm minimizing gas usage in my quest to minimize my effect on the planet...while still living a contemporary life-style...

Don't really think I'm doing much good however...despite my best intentions...

Today my wife and I spent about 6 hours just sitting outside in the cool weather (comfy-cool,not cold,not hot) enjoying the day together,reading,talking,just being...something we've rarely done in 20 years of marriage,but something we both plan to do more of

Nah...what you're doing...what you did...it's all in a day!

Have to run to town this morning...need chicken drugs...I'm not sure if something is brewing in the coop, or not, but better safe than sorry. The only real option I have is to medicate them for 2 weeks.

Then I have to drop a cheque off...that I forgot to leave last week...

Then I need to stop quickly at the grocery store.

It's cold enough outside I might take a dog with me. I'll take the Mini-D. She's unlikely to eat the seats or do any damage while I'm in the store...

I had a very early appointment at the hospital today, to see the ear, nose, and throat specialist about the lump inside my lip. The swelling is finally going down, but whatever's trapped inside is not getting any smaller, so my lip is getting very tender where it's pressing against the whatever-it-is. The doctor says the lump is too hard to be scar tissue, so most likely it actually is a piece of debris from the car... glass or metal or plastic, shoved in when the airbag deployed. He's going to schedule me for day surgery to get rid of it. They'll put me under and then go fishing in my lip for whatever the lump is.

Did not get much sleep last night... the dog kept strolling up and down the hall, and we had an overnight wind-and-rainstorm. After getting home I flopped down onto the bed and managed to get another good four hours of shut-eye. Michelle, my youngest sibling, was on dinner duty tonight, and she made the same pork chops in ketchup sauce mom was making the day I had the accident. At least this time I could enjoy them properly.

Ran errands yesterday...need to do my fish tanks this morning and then run more errands this afternoon...

Oh the excitment.

Then I get to pick hubby up at the airport again. I really dislike this midnight pick-up...

Yeah. But I left abruptly and without reason. I think I made Hobbs and William upset. There was a reason for my departure, however. It was for personal reasons though. Nothing to do with AC at all- or any of it's members/ mods.
